At Kaizen Consulting, we have had the privilege of supporting a leading company in the hotel and sports sector through an ambitious project to acquire, revitalise and expand a golf and hotel complex in southern Spain. After several months of intensive work, Kaizen Consulting successfully structured a deal with the participation of an alternative debt fund, enabling the purchase of the property for €2.5 million. This milestone laid the foundation for the future development of the complex.
Phase 2: Renovation and modernisation of the complex
The second phase —currently under way— involves a full renovation of both the golf course and the hotel area. Financing in this stage combines traditional instruments such as leasing and renting with hybrid solutions from private investors and non-bank funds. The goal is to raise the quality of the facilities and position the resort as a benchmark destination for those seeking exclusive golf and wellness experiences.
Phase 3: Real estate expansion and long-term vision
The final phase, now under strategic review, includes expanding the complex through the acquisition of adjacent residential plots. This step will allow the creation of an integrated residential area within the resort, consolidating the project as a landmark in both the sports and real estate sectors of the region.
